Officially Homeless

After our trip to Phoenix a few weeks ago we had to make a decision about whether or not I would keep my job at the university.  After much prayer and weighing of all our options, I decided to resign.  Today we moved out of our apartment on campus and moved all our belongings into storage.  For the next X number of weeks we will be living with different family members as I complete flight instructor certifications.

I'm so grateful for the community I was able to be a part of at Concordia in my role as the Residence Life Coordinator.  Under the mentorship of my boss and through having the opportunity to supervise the RAs, I was able to grow a lot professionally and personally.

On a more sentimental note, my wife reminded me that this was the building we started dating in, this is the building we got engaged in, this is the building we left to enter the "real world" only to return 6 months later to live here again, this is where we fostered KK and Imani, and where we brought home our first son.  So much to be thankful for!

Thank you to all our family and friends who helped make the move this weekend and for those that are hosting us in your homes over the next weeks as we wait to see what's next.  We are grateful!

Goodbye Concordia!
